I always do my diesel smog test at Pro 1, they're always prompt and at a very fair price. Plus, it's really cool to watch them spin the truck up to freeway RPM's on the Dyno! I recently discovered coolant system leaks on my truck that I could not repair at home due to HOA restrictions. They did an excellent job and again at a very fair price. Thank you Rachel, Paul, Ryan, and any other techs who worked on the truck! After I left, the truck through a "check engine" light on my way home. I called and Rachel had me return immediately and Ryan scanned it as soon as I arrived. We discovered that an air pocket in the Secondary Coolant System caused a sensor to give an unmatched fault. Ryan topped of the coolant, cleared the code, ran real-time diagnostics to ensure proper sensor voltage and no leaks. The truck runs great! Also, I always do my diesel smog checks there. Have always had prompt service at a fair price. Thanks again, I'll see you in May 2023 when the truck is due for another smog!

This shop is well named and lives up to its moniker. They are skilled and honest and not excessively priced. I highly recommend them.

I took my truck to Pro 1 Automotive because my check engine light illuminated and the codes called out a turbo problem. Pro 1 Automotive told me in order to properly diagnose the issue, they would have to update my computer firmware. After doing so, the problem code persisted, but rather than telling me I needed to replace my turbo, they suggested a much cheaper option. Pro 1 recommended I run some fuel treatment through my system and see if the issue goes away. They even gave me a free bottle of fuel treatment which has actually prevented my check engine light from coming back on and noticeably improved my engine responsiveness. Both the desk technician and mechanic were very helpful in averting a 6k turbo replacement. I would definitely go back for future service.
