My wife went in to get an oil change a few weeks ago. They were really nice but stated the brakes were in good shape. Two weeks later the rear brakes starting making some noise. We took it to someone else who changed the brake pads and rotors. The rotors were so bad he struggled to take them off. Makes me think they didn’t really do the inspection they said they did.
Cody, thank you for the review. Upon looking further into your concern, your Toyota 4runner was scheduled for an oil change service and 24 point visual inspection. Part of the inspection does include a visual check on the brakes, and unfortunately, depending on the wheel, it is hard to get a perfect visual on the pad life. If we do a tire rotation, we would remove the tires and measure pads and rotors and provide an ACTUAL brake inspection, or if there was a braking concern we would have had a brake and tire technician diagnose the concern. During your visit the tires were not removed and no brake concern was mentioned at time of drop off for us to provide a physical brake inspection. Thanks. Pro 1 Automotive.
