…Not my first business dealings with Pro 1, nor will it be my last… The sister of a friend of my wife has a Ford Windstar that would NOT pass smog. A mechanic somewhere had replaced the catalytic converter & the vehicle still would not pass smog. I highly dislike a shop that takes advantage of an elderly woman (76). I represented Joyce in her endeavor to have her vehicle properly repaired & pass a smog inspection. Brought the vehicle to your shop on Saturday. On Monday morning I was greeted by Paul Seivers. Told him of Joyce's dilemma. Later that morning Paul called and stated that the engine had an intake leak & the repair would be ‘around $1,000. Later that afternoon, Paul called and said that the vehicle would be ready in about 30 minutes. My daughter & I drove to your shop & settled the bill. I was told that in order to reset the vehicle’s computer, the vehicle would need to be driven 50-100 miles. The following day I drove the vehicle to Fallon. I returned to your shop for the smog check. $24.95 later, the vehicle passed smog. As an aircraft mechanic and inspector and later as a retired FAA Aviation Safety Inspector, I especially appreciated Mr. Seivers’ open and honest communication. As your “Front Line Representative,” he’s an excellent employee. He treated me, and all who entered your business, with courtesy and respect. Semper Fi Paul. Thank you Mr. Stebbins. Please thank your mechanics. Jack Roche FAA Aviation Safety Inspector (Retired)
